Most models are equipped with a ball hitch. An Additional 3-point linkage coupling is required to connect them to a tractor.

Orchard Carts

Which cart should you choose? There are many factors to consider when looking for an answer to the question: Orchard type, row spacing, headlands size, distance between the orchard and the storage, individual preferences, and the budget.

Statistically, one-bin carts and three bin carts are the most popular. Usually, the carts are joint in sets for 6 bins. This can be achieved with 6 x one-bin carts or three-bin carts. If the orchard is located close to the storage, one bin carts are recommended. Total length of such set is very large at around 17 meters. This means that you do not need to move the tractor as often during the harvest. The bins are spaced equal distances, there is a free passage around each bin, and they are usually lower to the ground (compared to bigger carts). This provides excellent efficiency and comfort.

For long distances between the orchard and the storage, especially if driving on public roads is unavoidable, it is best to reduce the length of the set. Here, three-bin carts gain an obvious advantage. An average set is around 12m long, so it is 30% more compact, compared to one-bin carts!

Carts with 4-wheel steering offer unmatched manoeuvrability. This makes them the best choice for very tight spaces. They can also be equipped with road lighting and overrun brake for full compliance with traffic regulations.

Optimal set consists of two three-bin carts. Usually, the same models are combined. A popular set is: 2 x WPS-3S, 2 x WS-3S/3 or 2 x WS-35/4. Multiple WS-3N carts cannot be connected! They can only work with WS-3S/3 or WS-3S/4 carts.

When mixing different models, make sure all carts share the same wheel size.
