Ben Wye Bin Loaders are a heavy duty construction and fully hydraulic self loading and unloading fruit bin trailer. The wheels are lowered to allow the forks to slide under the bin, the bin is then pulled up or unloaded using the bi directional hydraulic driven chain. They are used for the quick and efficient loading and unloading of either full or empty wooden or plastic bins used for fruit harvest and have the following features:

• Main frame is constructed from a heavy duty 150 x 100 x 5mm Roller hollow section.

• Standard models are 4 bins (4000) and 5 bins (5000)

• Rated up to 5000kg at 25km/h

• Tyres are a 10.0/75-15.3 18 ply tyre on a single piece 9.00 x 15.3 6 stud rim

• Hydraulic Requirements – 2 pairs of remotes; 30 l/m (min)

• Heavy-duty low flow high pressure hydraulic chain drive motor for smooth operation

• Direct mount hydraulic motor on a heavy-duty torque arm

• Large greaseable take up bearings with a positive chain adjustment

• Wide foot print double pitched roller chain for greater bin retention

• Poly Urethane coated idler sprocket for greater grip for loading and unloading

• All Rollers are on a case hardened greaseable pin with locking bolt

• Automatic bin latches as standard

• Two position parking jack – one for parking and one stowed while in use

• Large clearance holes for releasing dirt

• Lift rams isolating tap to isolate when parking and to take pressure off hydraulic remotes

• Heavy duty 50mm square stubs with a gross load rating of 3600kg at 25km/h or a 2900kg carrying capacity.

• Now available with optional new dual wheel floating axle for a soft ride for delicate fruit.

• Mechanical bin lock to secure bins in the transport position.

• Fully adjustable tow hitch to accommodate a range of tractor heights.

• High bin stop headstock to stack empties two bins high for bin dispatching.

• Wide roller chain with large footprint for gripping plastic bins – Pick up sprocket has moulded polyurethane roller either side of the chain to assist with pick up and bin retention.

* New “R” model (Rollers) has 12 polyurethane rollers to dramatically assist with bin retention and sandy conditions

• Optional in Guides to straighten skew bins.

• 2 x 2 1/2 x 8 inch lifting cylinders, coupled with a soft ride hydraulic accumulator is now standard.
